Scripture
Scenes
A Scripture
Scene is where you take a scripture verse (or passage) and your child,
children, or family act it out. Proverbs is a great source for these!
It would be something very short, not taking longer than a minute; maybe
two. Someone could read the verse from the microphone, and the
child(ren) act it out. Or it can be stated by the "actors" AS it is
happening. OR the narrator can say a bit, then they act it out and/or
say part of it.
Here's a good passage in Proverbs 3 that would avail itself well to
this:
13 Joyful is the person who finds wisdom,
the one who gains understanding.
14 For wisdom is more profitable than silver,
and her wages are better than gold.
15 Wisdom is more precious than rubies;
nothing you desire can compare with her.
16 She offers you long life in her right hand,
and riches and honor in her left.
17 She will guide you down delightful paths;
all her ways are satisfying.
18 Wisdom is a tree of life to those who embrace her;
happy are those who hold her tightly.

Think creatively ~ ask your child(ren) to help! You can really have FUN
with this!!!
To show you what I mean, I will give you my thoughts on how to
"act out" the above verse...
First, "Wisdom" is a woman. I would imagine her to be kind of
"Statue-of-Liberty-esque." Then just act out the verse! (Or just part
of it.) A taller child ~ or Mom ~ could be Wisdom; the children, even
tiny tots, those who are pursuing her. Fix up two gift boxes big enough
for the words "Long Life" to be printed in large seeable-by-the-audience
letters on one box, and then "Riches and Honor" on the other box.
Wisdom would be standing there holding one of each in her hand.
