Do I need to have

the course finished ~ and a

certificate ~ before moving

to Washington?

"We're in the process of moving to Washington...  Do I need to have the certificate for this course before actually moving to Washington?  Or can I be "in process" when we move?"

Yes, you can!  In fact, many who actually live here are "in the process" of taking the course.  I have a "Certificate of Participation" I can give (for just $3 extra), but most don't request/need it because Washington's "Declaration of Intent to Homeschool" form doesn't (or *shouldn't*) require that you indicate *how* you qualify.  I have made up a sample form, in compliance with WA's homeschool law, [Click here if you want to see it!]  If the form you get from your school district looks much different from this ~ asking for more information ~ feel free to contact me.

"We are looking at moving there [within a couple of months], so, hopefully I won't have a problem getting the course done by then."

I recommend that you take longer than 2 or even 3 or 4 months to go through the course.   :-)   It's a season, and you will get MUCH more out of it if you take some time doing it.  Click
