"Butterflies in Pink & Black"

and "Spiral Pop-up"

CARD

INSIDE this card we're going to be doing

something that I don't think  I've ever taught before ~ called

"Spiral Pop-up"!!!  Here's the tutorial on it at Splitcoast,

in case you'd like to get a sneak peek!! As usual, it's

much easier than you think!!!

There's a video tutorial linked from

the bottom of that tutorial!

"Quilted Top Note"

CARD

Above are two samples from Splitcoast...

(The one on the left uses the 2010 Sale-a-bration Designer Paper!

Its text stamp is from "_____ Words")

...and these cards below were made by four

gals in one of my Homeschool Moms Oasis groups!!!!!!!

See how versatile these cards are?!?!  They are for Valentines Day,

a birthday, "Just for You" (anything), and then the blue and brown card hadn't

been decided on yet, but could be for most any occasion!

Look closely to see how all four of the above cards are "quilted"?!?

We did this by running the quilted Top Note piece through the Big Shot inside an

embossing folder.  The one we used was the "Flowers", but you could also use

"Finial Press" (in the main catalog, page ___), or just about ANY one!  These

have much more texture and personality, *I* think than the one I did

below, which was before I found the idea to emboss/quilt them:

Supplies to Bring

to each class:

Paper cutter

Snail adhesive (for those

who prefer that over glue sticks)

Reading (or close-work) glasses!

(A little tip...  I normally wear 2.50–2.75

reading glasses, but for closer, more-detailed work

like this, I got a pair of 3.00's and LOVE them!)

  Small sharp scissors

List of supplies to bring this time,

if you have them, and want to bring them:
