Romance God's Way

by Eric and Leslie Ludy

In this book they talk about romance God's way, and how dating relationships are kind of like a card house or a sand house. Neither of those houses have very good foundations, both will topple very easily.  A house that does have a very good foundation is a castle, and it takes a long time, a lot of work, and a lot of waiting to make, and you have to build it little by little, but, once your castle is done, you realize it was well worth the wait!

His Perfect Faithfulness

 by Eric and Leslie Ludy

This book is about Eric and Leslie Ludy's own love story. Here is something Eric and Leslie said in this book, "We chose the title for this book, His Perfect Faithfulness, because we now that the miraculous way God brought us together was not based upon something we did on our own, but on God's great love for us as His children. We also know that our story is merely one example of His mighty hand at work in bringing a relationship together. We believe God wants to do something unique and special in this area of every young person's life." Eric and Leslie's love story was made in heaven, it is so romantic.

Exploring The Night Sky

by Terence Dickinson

A few months ago, I had asked my Mom if she could get me a book about space, specifically a book with real pictures of stars, galaxies, planets etc. in it. My Mom found this book at a Mt. Saint Helens visitors center. There are a few actual pictures in this book, but the rest are drawings by artists as they imagine it would be. The reason there are so few actual photos is because most of what is out in space is too far to be able to get a picture of it. I love learning about astronomy!

Little House Books

by Laura Ingalls Wilder

Laura Ingalls Wilder was born in 1867, and  when she got into her fifties she wrote about her childhood and her family, and how they moved from place to place.   Laura Ingalls was very  adventurous.  My Mom and I are reading these Little House Books together, and we are learning about how they lived, what the places were like where they lived, and what kinds of food they ate.  Both of us are enjoying the books very much!  We are about half-way through the series and neither of us wants to come to the end of them all!

I Kissed Dating Goodbye

by Joshua Harris

Before I read this book, I already knew that I was not going to date. So reading it did not convince me to not date, because I was already convinced, but it has encouraged me in my decision and it has helped me understand the idea behind it. Here is something that Josh wrote in his book. "Tired of the game? Kiss dating goodbye. Dating. Isn't there a better way? I Kissed Dating Goodbye suggests there is. Reorder your romantic life in the light of God's Word and find more fulfillment than a date could ever give -- a life of sincere love, true purity and purposeful singleness."

Note from an older

Carlianne:

I wrote and designed my web pages when I was about 12 or 13, so most of them are quite outdated as far as what my hobbies and interests are now.  But I am keeping them here, as they were back when I wrote them, because it's all still part of my past and who I am now.

I got this beautiful background at:

where they have all sorts of amazing backgrounds and graphics!
