This section is the "catch all" of all the articles and items that didn't fit anywhere else.  As such, it could just as easily have been named "Miscellaneous," but don't you think "Potpourri" sounds much nicer?     It seems to place a higher value on things, which is how I regard the contents of this section, and hope you will too. Or that you'll at least enjoy and/or be edified by what I have included here.
